- Starting in 2008, The National Festival
will charge $2.00 per adult attending the Festival (does not include
officials). The purpose of this fee is to defray the expenses of the
festival not covered by the registration fee.
|
|
The Festival will feature: |
- National Competition over the entire Fact-Pak.
|
- Each team will receive a plaque and individual certificates!
|
|
| Qualifying for the
2008 Festival: |
- Each district's
first place team (winner of the district championship) will
automatically qualify to participate at the National Festival. Should the top
District team be unable to attend, the district coordinator may select the next qualified team to fill that position.
|
- Each region will qualify 5 additional teams along with its top district teams.
|
-
This means each region can sponsor a total of 5 regional
teams plus 1 top team per district to attend the National Festival. All teams
qualifying through Regionals must be from one of the districts within that
region.
|
-
The Committee will select a number of at-large
teams to participate and round out the field.
|
-
Registrations are on a first come, first serve basis, so register as soon as you qualify. The maximum number of
80 teams could be filled before the May
7th, 2008 deadline.
